WEIRD DREAM

I am running behind a house, wearing track pants and no shirt... I turn a corner in a jog and there is a girl there... sunbathing nude. I am embarrassed, and I can feel myself blushing... but she doesn't seem to have any shame. She is blonde and beautiful. She stands up... and I say something inaudible... then she says...

"Well you should try it sometime"

FANTASY > SCI-FI

I just bought a few dvds... THE DARK CRYSTAL, LABYRINTH, and... SNATCH.

Well, SNATCH really isn't a fantasy movie.... but I have wanted it for a LONG time. Between the other two, and the TWO TOWERS extended dvd... I am all set.

JOSEPH ARTHUR



I picked up Joseph Arthur's "Come to Where I'm From" for 5 DOLLARS last monday. It is one of the best albums I HAVE EVER HEARD. *Sample* his work and then BUY it. You won't be disappointed.

I first heard "In the Sun" by some off chance on 89x radio one year after 9/11. It's amazing because he is quickly becoming on of my favorite artists... and I discovered him by some off chance. That rocks.

I purchased "Redemption's Son" first (some may recognize "Honey and the Moon" from the American Wedding soundtrack - walking on the beach)... I will admit I was turned off a bit by the borderline christian tones at first... However after a few listens I realized that wasn't it. Just because you use the words "Jesus Christ" in a song doesn't mean it's christion... It's not christian music at all. It's about faith... plain and simple... whatever that word means to you... (I think I will do my religion entry soon...)

The way he deals with things - I have been there before on some of them. Faith, Depression, Loneliness, Addiction, Suicide... etc. It's amazing and perfect. My favorite song off of "Come to Where I'm From" at the moment is "Invisibile Hands" YOU HAVE TO HEAR THIS SONG. I have long compared love to religion... so, think about it... I love the harmonica in the song.

Hangover.

Last night at the old shillelagh was so fun! Thank you everyone for showing up. Thanks to Nykanen for driving me home.

I drank... way too much, way too fast. Now, I gave up drinking last year... And I am a lightweight anyway. Soon I was tipsy and had trouble focusing. After going to the bathroom, I knocked over a few empty bottles... That was it for me.

So - I cut myself off and went home. I think it was around 1am but I am not sure.

... I don't think I am going to drink again. It was fun but I don't like having a lack of control and focus.

I remember some time ago I filled out this things for BALLY'S and gave them my phone number. I was planning on getting a membership but never did (see last new years resolutions)... So at the beginning of last week they called... must have been the easiest sales call ever:

And that is that. I just got back from my second workout. I have a personal trainer who is cool as hell. I have my workout, my diet, supplements, and everything laid out beforehand. Makes it so much easier. Someone there to kick my ass into shape. So... good luck to me. I really want this.

THE RENTS.

Terminator 3 - CRAP.

The only thing I liked about this movie was the ending. Made sense to me when the rest of the movie did not. The TX chick was HOT but I realized I needed her to make more than one face... She doesn't work well as a machine. Arnold sucked... The whole movie sucked except the end.

Final Destination 2 - CRAP

Ali Larter used to be UBER hot... now she is... well she's still hot but she sucks in this movie. She apparently has a PHD in DEATH and is in the movie just long enough to get blown up.

So - Between these 2 and the Matrix Revolutions... I am batting 0-3 in movies lately. At least COOL AS ICE finally showed up... I don't know what I am waiting for... but I guess it's a special occasion. Oh well... at leat I will have the TWO TOWERS extended dvd soon... and RETURN OF THE KING can't get here soon enough to save me from all this CRAP I have been watching. THE LAST SAMURAI looks sweet too.

still reading? Ok it wasn't awesome. Actually I have never been let down more by an ending of a movie. The first 30 minutes was CRAP, as well as the last 15 minutes. The time in between was SWEET! However - It was like sex but without the payoff.

THE ENDING WAS HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE I WISH I COULD PURGE THE MOVIE FROM MY MIND AND JUST HAVE THE ORIGINAL EXIST. I am going to chuck my RELOADED dvd out the window...
